Out of town guests
Jaime and Alex want to extend special thanks to those guests who are traveling from out of town to attend their wedding. They appreciate the special effort that you are making to attend, and have included the following information to make your trip easier.
The wedding will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ceremony will take place in the city of San Francisco, while the reception is located just north of the city, in Tiburon. Lodging recommendations in both San Francisco and Tiburon follow.
Staying in San Francisco
The wedding ceremony will take place in San Francisco, at Trinity Episcopal Church. The church is several blocks from where the bride grew up, and where her family still lives. The family recommends that out of town guests who wish to lodge in San Francisco stay nearby at either The Queen Ann or the Holiday Inn. Transportation from both The Queen Ann and the Holiday Inn to the reception site and back will be arranged for your convenience.
The Queen Anne

The Queen Anne (url)
is a quaint San Francisco bed and breakfast located in a beautifully
restored old Victorian building. The hotel has 48 rooms, most of which
will likely be occupied by wedding guests. We recommend booking early to
be sure you get a room. Prices range from $139 to
$200 and up a night. Transportation from The
Queen Anne to the reception site and back will be arranged for your
convenience.

Holiday Inn
|
Also located very close to the ceremony location (as well as just steps
from the California Street cable car) is the Holiday Inn
(url).
We have a block of 25 rooms reserved for the wedding at a rate of $129 a
night. (You may note that this is lower than previously mentioned. A large
conference did not get the turn out expected, and room rates have, fortunately
for us, dropped.)
Mention the Teevan/Hehmeyer wedding when reserving your room.
Transportation from the
Holiday Inn to the reception site and back will be arranged for your
convenience.

Staying in Tiburon
Tiburon is a historic fishing village in Marin, just north of San Francisco, and home to some of the world's best sailors. The weather is always better in Tiburon, and the waterfront town affords beautiful views of San Francisco. There are a number of cute restaurants and shops located in Tiburon, and San Francisco is just a quick trip across the Golden Gate Bridge. Angel Island, a historic landmark, is accessible only by the Tiburon ferry. The ferry also makes an easy trip to San Francisco.
The reception will be held in Tiburon. There are two hotels located in Tiburon. Both are just steps from the Corinthian Yacht Club, where the reception will be held.
The Water's Edge

The Water's Edge (url)
is a beautiful luxury hotel located right on the water in
Tiburon. It is very small, with only 23 guest rooms, so if you are
interested in staying here, book early. Rates start at $195 a night.
The hotel is already entirely booked, but several rooms have been blocked
for wedding guests at $195 a night.

The Tiburon Lodge

The Tiburon Lodge (url)
is a larger hotel, with 107 rooms. The lodge is also a
popular conference center. Many of the rooms have in-room spas. Rates
start at $179 a night and include breakfast.
