The line graph pictured is representing the percentage of drug offenses in the EU from 2004-2010.
Drug offenses are broken down by substance and whether the substance was used or possessed
by individuals charged or supplied by said individuals. The substances indicated include cocaine,
heroine, amphetamines, cannibas, and ecstasy. The report indicates that drug offenses for
ecstasy possession, use, and supply all decreased significantly over the given time period
to 50% . Most notably, drug offenses relating to cocaine use and possession has skyrocketed
over those years to 175%. This study was conducted by the European monitoring center for drugs
and drug addiction.
