US Corporate tax This graph shows the relationship between the federal tax rates of companies
based on profit. However, there does not seem to be a direct correlation of the profit and
the tax rate. This is evident in that some companies had a much higher profit than other
companies, but still managed to pay at a significantly lower federal tax rate. This may have
something to do with the type of industry and/or the available write-offs.
