Travelers are avoiding the Greek islands because of the protests in that country.  Tourism 
is still up but not for Greece.  Tourists are going to place like France and Spanish instead.

have seen a rise, except for Greece due to protests. Tourism has dropped at athens airport 
from 2.3 million to 1.8 million.

Foreign tourism has increased slowly on a yearly basis, despite Europeans in their home countries 
spending less on vacations within the country, potentially due to protests. Tourists visiting 
Spain has climbed in recent years, whereas tourists visiting Greece have steadily declined, 
due to the aforementioned protests in Greece.
A study conducted by from 2008 to 2012 states here on this graph that tourism has significantly 
decreased to Europe. Not that odd since the recession, people are trying to save and spend 
as little as humanly possible.

have decreased, but vacation nights taken by foreigners have increased compared to a year 
ago. Many more international tourists are visiting Spain than Greece.
