About Me

Welcome! I am now an assistant professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department department at Rice University.

I have a broad range of research interests in computer vision and graphics. I am particularly interested nowadays in generative image models and their applications, mid-level vision/perception, algorithmic fairness, and medical applications.

I completed my PhD (2018) and Master's (2013) degrees in CSAIL at MIT, under the supervision of John Guttag and Frédo Durand. I was also a postdoctoral researcher in Bill Freeman's group at MIT from 2018-2020. I received my undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2011.
