Types of inheritance explained where?

Dear Neel, thank you for that review:  I'm excited about getting my own
copy and going over the material.

A question:  I recall reading articles on the web that defined and
discussed the types of inheritance (implementation, interface,
covariant and contravariant).  Where can I find these articles?

When I explain inheritance to my students, they seem to grasp the first
two types readily enough, but I need some authoritative sources from
which they can study the last two more.
