Because, knucklehead, it's a portmanteau of DYnamic LANguage.  And if I were
to associate it with any artist, I'd associate it with Dylan Thomas, not a
washed-up, vastly overrated '60s lunatic.

Only by fools who can't figure out what "comp.lang" might mean.  And fools
who wouldn't associate it with a real talent (Dylan Thomas) instead of a
hack.
