Incidentally, two frightening dramatizations in film of painter/sculptor
and mentor:

    Camille Claudel & Rodin
    http://us.imdb.com/Title?0094828

    Artemisia Gentileschi & Agostino Tassi
    http://us.imdb.com/Title?0123385

The second is said to take especial liberties with history, and neither
film constitutes an authoritative word on how particular historical
figures interacted. However, both films provide interesting portrayals
of a variety of different collaboration models and dynamics, on projects
small and large.
