|MIT / CSAIL / Theory of Computation / Jakob Nordström|
Please note that I have left MIT and it is unclear to what extent my webpages here will be maintained in the future. At the time of writing this on October 14, 2011, I am working at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and my current homepage www.csc.kth.se/~jakobn contains more up-to-date information. Also, I try to make sure that at all times the address www.jakobnordstrom.se points either to my current affiliation or to a private personal webpage.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Theoretical Computer Science Group at the School of Computer Science and Communication at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
During the academic years 2008-09 and 2009-10, I was a postdoc at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology hosted by Madhu Sudan.
Prior to that I was a PhD student of Johan Håstad in the Theory Group at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where I defended my PhD thesis in May 2008. For those who would prefer not to read the whole thesis there are instead [in Swedish only] a short popular science summary and a slightly longer popular science overview of the research in my PhD project.
Some more personal information about me can be found at my webpage at KTH.
