Although interfaces provide no mechanism for enforcing method specifications, other than method signatures, you are free to deposit descriptive comments in an interface.

Interfaces tend to be excellent places for descriptive comments for two reasons:

• Interfaces, unlike class definitions, are not cluttered by code.
• Programmers, by convention, look to interfaces for method and class documentation.
