347: Highlights
- If you need to store information that is useful to all instances of a
class, but that does not vary from instance to instance, then you can store
that information in class variables.
- If you store information in class variables, then you need to
initialize those class variables with a class method.
- If you wish to use the value of a class variable inside a class or
instance method defined for that class, or for one of its subclasses, then
just use the variable name.
- If you wish to set or get the value of a class variable inside a method
defined for a class that is not the one in which the class variable is
defined, or one of that class's subclasses, then define class setters
and getters.
