The source of the information flowing to viewers may be controllers associated with viewers, or the source may be methods defined on classes specifically set up to embody domain knowledge. Such classes are often called domain models because they model the problem-solving domain. Note, however, that this use of the word model is different from the use of the word in connection with the model–viewer–controller paradigm—a domain model is not necessarily a subclass of the Model class.
