A Translation Game for Second Language Learning
This is a Web-based translation game aimed at providing learners of
Mandarin Chinese with an easily-accessible and fun environment for
practicing speaking the new language. The prototype centers on the
task of translating flight domain sentences from English into
Chinese. English stimuli are used to elicit Chinese utterances from a
user. The system tracks a user's performance and rewards them with
advancement in difficulty level.
