About Me

I am a computer science graduate student at MIT, where I have been doing research in computer animation with my advisor Jovan Popovic since September 2004. The focus of my work is on the use of physical simulation and control to drive the motion of virtual creatures in interactive applications such as video games. When not subjecting virtual creatures to brutal physical stress tests, I can usually be found subjecting myself to similar conditions on the mountain tops of New England.

Mocap Man(.jpg) - Modelled on the bone lengths of a friend of mine, Mocap Map became an endearing companion on my first foray into the world of Inverse Kinematics.
By the Beach(.avi) - Here's the result of a ray tracer that I built in cse457. I'm not sure what it is, but the ocean soundtrack definitely places it by the beach.
