Teaching

Advanced Computer Graphics (6.839)

Projects

Computer graphics can revolutionize standard practices in education and training through courses that naturally integrate math, science, technology, arts and through research that enables inexpensive and accessible computer-based expert instruction. My teaching and research efforts strive to bring about such changesthrough development of course curriculums; design of methods for analysis, interpretation, and generation of human motion; design of modeling techniques for acquiring and animating arbitrary three-dimensional shapes; and development of simulation systems for improving medical training and enhancing design of humanoid robots.
