In my research, I have made several important contributions.
I present a concise procedural approach for authoring volumetric models. Models are created and modified within my scripting language and it is easy to make iterative adjustments to arrive at the desired model. I treat simulation as a modeling operator and provide intuitive access to these operations through the tool interface. The user can apply these tools without converting between the requirements of different simulations. And to implement the language, I developed a robust method for the construction and simplification of interesting tetrahedral models that are appropriate for Finite Element Method simulations.
