<g>, point taken. Speaking and presentation skills often follow suit.
I would add that newsgroup discussions are not, for me, in the same
category as communiqués between colleagues. If they were, I would not be
able to participate in such discussions or write as many postings as I
do these days. I treat newsgroup discussions as casual conversations and
rarely take the the time and effort to craft or review/edit my
correspondence.
