super-powered keyboards

This sort of keyboard was not so unusual at that time.
I used to be a typesetter, and remember using extra
"shift" keys similar to the super, meta, hyper mentioned
in a previous email.

This was a quite rational alternative to expanding the keyboard.

Remember those were the pre-mouse days, and whatever
you wanted to put into the computer or (wow!) onto the
screen you had to be able to type.
