Interests
Investing
I am an active investor, and try to trade on a regular basis. I usually
trade on
tech stocks, especially computer software, hardware and network
infrastructure companies. Here's some companies I follow (and try to
make money on!) :
Here's some hard data on my success rate: Friends say that I am 100% correct in my
predictions about 50% of the
time (Not bad! That makes me just as good as the stock analysts at
Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and CSFB. Hey, where's my $2 million
dollar paycheck?? ;) ).
I usually follow one of several strategies:
Covered Call Writing
Day Trading
Shorting
Naked Put Writing
Global Indus Technovator Awards (GITA)
I helped start this MIT initiative to highlight innovative South
Asians developing applications that promise significant benefit to
society. In the process, I've served in various roles including leading
GITA as co-president of the Indian Business Club @ MIT as well as supporting it as a screening committee member.
