Re: ruby

All of the Ruby implementors we contacted were unable to attend the
workshop.  Of course the core group is in Japan, so this wasn't too
surprising.  Hopefully the next time around...

Perhaps you could summarize Ruby's primary differences from Python and
Perl and why you find that Ruby meets your needs better than either of
those languages (or Scheme, etc.)?
