Hi Ken,

When I was in Boston in 2001, I stayed in a nice two bedroom suite at the
Residence Inn. It was $300 plus taxes. That's what I'd call expensive. I
guess $100 would be cheap.

In any case, I found my map of Boston/Cambridge from that visit and plotted
the locations of the hotels in relation to MIT building 34, where LL3 will
take place.

The Residence Inn is the closest (lees than 10 mins walking distance,
perhaps as little as 5 mins). The Marriott at Kendall Square is just a
little (2 mins) further off. Hotel@MIT is a little further still (10-15 mins
walking distance).

Hope this helps someone. Thanks to everyone who replied offline with
suggestions.

See you there!
