About Me

I am a third year PhD student at MIT working in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). I am advised by Professor Antonio Torralba and my interests are in computer vision, in particular, object recognition and scene undestanding. Previously, I was part of the Activity Perception Group headed by Professor Eric Grimson.

I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington where I was advised by Professor Linda Shapiro. Prior to that I attended the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (National Preparatory School) in Mexico City.
