In Segment 196, fat,
carbohydrate, and protein are abbreviated to f,
c and p in fCalories, cCalories, and
pCalories. But as you learned in Segment 103,
the names really
should be fatCalories, carbohydrateCalories, and
proteinCalories, because
Smalltalk programmers generally avoid abbreviations. In this book, however, names must fit into
programs that fit into the dimensions of the page. Accordingly, some names
depart from standard Smalltalk programming practice.
