By defining your own subclasses of Smalltalk supplied classes, you easily can share particular classes, along with all the methods defined for those classes, as described in Chapter 30.
On the other hand, if you were to develop multiple applications by working directly with the classes supplied by Smalltalk, then you would have difficulty separating those applications from one another or even keeping track of which methods belong to which application.
