MeterGraphPane class, an instance of the TopPane class, and
an instance of the CalorieViewManager class. These instances are
referred to as a graph pane or meter pane, a top pane,
and a view manager. Similarly, when referring to an instance of any
SubPane class, that instance is referred to as a subpane.
