About Me

I'm a computer scientist working on Statistical Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. I work primarily on statistical models for inducing linguistic and other kinds of useful structure from raw text.

I'm currently a post-doc at MIT, working with Regina Barzilay.

Before that, I was a doctoral student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley working with Dan Klein in the NLP group.

Beginning in January 2011, I will be joining the Department of Computer Science at UMass-Amherst as an assistant professor.
