[2012 - present]
Currently I am working with computer analysis of narrative in collaboration with MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab.
Right now I am trying to embed exhaustive plot classification theory into the Genesis Story-Understanding System. Therefore, Genesis will be able to read and analyze any dramatical piece ever written.
First, I used to work with the Start Natural Language Question Answering System's back-end Omnibase. Only later, I joined the Genesis group as well, lead by Patrick Winston. Right now I am working under his direct supervision and supervision of Boris Katz, leader of the Infolab CSAIL group, which developed START. Apart from my main project I also invent more and more peculiar ways to test both systems (START and Genesis) and define ways for improvements.
Among skills I obtained is coding in Scheme and basics of computational narratology as well as lots of application-specific knowledge.
[2012-2013]
Studied two semesters at MIT Computer Science Department as a Special Student.
What did I do in particular >>
Took courses in Natural Language Processing, Optimization, Intelligent Multi-Modal Interfaces. Was a listener at Marvin Minsky's course on Artificial Intelligence.
On to grades: had a single B, everything else - 50% B+ and 50% A.
[2012 - present]
I am one of the first 20 students of a completely novel international university.

It is SkolkovoTech that made my MIT experience possible.
I truly believe that Skolkovo has enough enthusiastic and talented students and stuff to become an outburst in Russian education never seen since PhysTech.
[2011-2012]
Worked as an Engineer of project management and expluatation department in the innovation company I-free.
What did I do in particular >>
I maintained various web-servers (nginx, Apache) and application-servers (JBoss, Glassfish).
I used version control systems git and svn, configuration manager puppet, bug tracking system mantis, monitoring systems Zabbix and Nagios.
Also I learned basics of data bases quering and maintenance (MySQL and PostgreSQL).
I had an intensive training in the area of communication via SMPP protocol (SMS) as well as maintainance of SMSC and ESME entities.
Also I obtained some experience in writing manuals, documentation and instructions.
[2010-2011]
Worked as an extra-curriculum teacher in Saint-Petersburg state Gymnasium #70.

For a year I delivered a set of lectures on most modern and challenging aspects of computer and mathematical modelling. Apart from that we regarded the historical development and ethical aspects of the field. My lectures combined an overview with intensive programming practice, pursuing not only the informative goal but also preparing students for the entrance examination.
All of my students successfully entered different universities. What is particularly curious is that exactly half of them pursues degrees in science and the other half -- in humanities.
The program of lectures, slides and assignments were designed exclusively on my own and approved by the educational comitee. So I obtained a broad experience in designing the curriculum, delivering presentations and teaching. It involved leadership skills and ability to be a role model to encourage students to exell in science.
[2007-2011]
Completed a double bachelor's degree in Bard College, New York and Saint-Petersburg State University.
What did I do in particular >>
During these wonderful years not only I got acquintant with fractal geometry and its applications and implications in the real world but also I had courses on computer modeling of complex systems, chaos theory, game theory.
In order to complete my Fine Arts requirments I took courses in Polytology, Sociology, Psycholinguistics, Psychology and Phenomenology of World Religions and History of Arts. Also to entertain myself I took a half-year long course on Latin.
Among applied skills I obtained are: programming in LISP, C and MatLab; informed and critical analysis of texts; multi-agent systems design and analysis of nonlinear dynamics of complex systems.
[2007]
Completed two years of education in Eastern-European Psychoanalysis University.

While studying there I completed a course work in which I attempted to find any relations between a classification of a person by accepted personality theories and his academical success and satisfaction with his achievements. This work is unpublished but, briefly, I did not find any relation (which is a relief because as recently as in times of Immanuel Kant people of Choleric temperament were supposed to be the least pleasant and less likely to succeed).
Among other subjects I had developmental psychology, phylosophy, analysis of experimantal data courses.
[2005-2007]
Completed two years of education in Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University.
What did I do in particular >>
I pursued a degree as a specialist in applied mathematics and software development. It is Eltech where I got acquintant with basic algorithms, mathematical logic, discrete mathematics, linear algebra and calculus.
