I am a postdoctoral researcher at Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) of MIT. I am a member of the Computational Fabrication Group, led by professor Wojciech Matusik. I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). My thesis (supervised by Prof. Roger Hersch) focused on computational printing where I developed a novel reproduction workflow for printing with non-standard materials. I have been awarded two postdoctoral fellowships by the Swiss National Science Foundation. I am currently visiting Max Planck Institute for Informatics and MMCI in Saarland University, hosted by Prof. Piotr Didyk.

My research interest lies at the intersection of manufacturing and appearance science. My research goal is to develop computational algorithms necessary for advanced manufacturing tools, such as multi-material 3D printers, to create products with novel, interesting and useful appearance specifications.
