Hi Les,

Do the command line tools work? Try something like (from a command
line):

  fdce
  :cd my-project-directory
  :open my-project-hdp
  :build 
  :start /share-console

Test this with some of the sample projects. This may get you started
until you work out why the IDE isn't working.

How much memory have you given the Virtual PC system? Can you assign
memory to it or is it dynamic? Perhaps FD is running out?
