Yeah, people do definitely get amazingly passionate about Perl, both for
and against. (It's a bit scary sometimes, though it can be fun to watch
clashing language zealots. From a safe distance, of course... :) That's
why I threw in C++ -- I don't know anyone who doesn't really appreciate
the flaws, at least apocryphally, of one of the two languages.
