Lixin Shi

I co-founded Spansive and currently serve as its CTO.

I received my PhD degree from the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory(CSAIL) at MIT. My thesis supervisor was Prof. Dina Katabi from the NETMIT group at the MIT wireless Center.

Prior to my PhD, I received a B.S. in Computer Science degree from Tsinghua University in 2011. I attended the Yao Class.

Research

My major research interest is in wireless systems, including wireless power systems, wireless communication systems, and signal processing. I have also done some work in the domain of algorithms, machine learning, computer graphics and computer vision.
