Lixin Shi

I co-founded Spansive and currently serves as its CTO.

I got my PhD degree from Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory(CSAIL) at MIT. My thesis supervisor is Prof. Dina Katabi from the NETMIT group and the MIT wireless Center.

Before this, I got my B.S in Computer Science degree from Microsoft Special Pilot CS Class(Yao Class), Institute for Theoretical Computer Science, Tsinghua University in 2011.

My major research interest is in wireless systems, including wireless power systems, wireless communication systems, and signal processing.

I am working with Prof. Dina Katabi in NETMIT on Wireless Networking. Before I came to MIT, I worked with Dr. Kun Tan in Wireless&Networking group at MSR Asia as an intern.

I previously worked with Prof. Jie Tang in Kowledge Engineering Lab as an undergraduate student in Tsinghua University.

Computer Vision
I previously worked on an undergraduate project with Prof. Linmi Tao in
Institute of HCI and Media Integration, Tsinghua University.
