Lixin Shi

I am a third year graduate student in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory(CSAIL) at MIT. I work with Prof. Dina Katabi in NETMIT group.

I am also a member of the MIT wireless Center.

Before this, I got my B.S in Computer Science degree from Microsoft Special Pilot CS Class(Yao Class), Institute for Theoretical Computer Science, Tsinghua University in 2011.

Research
My major research interest is in Computer Networks, especially Wireless Networking and Wireless Communications. Back in undergraduate labs, I also tried topics on Data Mining, Computer Vision and Theoretical Computer.

Wireless Networking
I am working with Prof. Dina Katabi in NETMIT on Wireless Networking. Before I came to MIT, I worked with Dr. Kun Tan in Wireless&Networking group at MSR Asia as an intern.

Sparse FFT and Its Applications

Data Mining
I previously worked with Prof. Jie Tang in Kowledge Engineering Lab as an undergraduate student in Tsinghua University.

Computer Vision
I previously worked on an undergraduate project with Prof. Linmi Tao in
Institute of HCI and Media Integration, Tsinghua University.
