SimRoof: Tropical Sites


There are 18 class-I and class-II tropical sites (−23.5°<latitude<23.5°) in three regions: Guam, the Caribbean, and Hawaii. All but one of these sites is coastal and the one which isn't (on Molukai) is less than 5 km from the shore on a low coastal plain. So all of these sites have coastal tropical climates. Puerto Rico and Hawaii have rain-forest and other climates inland, but no TMY3 stations there.
